Work Time provides opportunities for students to practice autonomy, agency, and independence in meeting learning goals. It helps support motivation and engagement through maximal freedom of movement, speech, and activity within the constraints of the Work Time format criteria. Work Time also provides students with opportunities to work cooperatively and develop interdependence and cooperative abilities.
